Viipurin Golf Club is the second oldest golf club in Finland.

With this history book (link below – in Finnish) our club celebrates its 70-year journey, the anniversary of which was commemorated in the summer of 2008.

At the same time we wanted to compile the entire 70 years’ history of our club into one volume by including previously published histories and the events of the last ten years for you and for future generations of golfers.

It is said that age brings experience and wisdom. Age also brings challenges whether for a person or an institution. One must take care of the condition achieved and at the same time recognize the opportunities upon which the future can and will be built.

The combination of tradition and challenge holds incredible strength and wisdom to face the future if we together know how to tap into it!
